What an exciting season finale of Grey's Anatomy. Meredith and Derek get "married" via a post-it note contract. Christina admits she loves Owen and answers yes to his question. George joins the Army. Baily turns down the peds fellowship. Izzy's operation is a semi-success. Then the suspense!
George saves a girl from certain death by pushing her out of the way of an oncoming bus, only to be hit himself. He is rushed to the hospital. No one knows that it is George due to the severe injuries to his face and head! Just before George goes under the knife, he reveals his identity to Meredith by writing 007 on her hand.
In the meantime, Izzy awakens after her surgery. All seems well. Izzy asks how the surgery went. What a relief! Izzy still has her memory, but wait...Izzy asks the same question again and again. Something is not right, there must have been damage to the brain.
Then, George crashes, Izzy crashes, total chaos! Izzy has flashes of memory. Izzy is in an elevator, wearing the dress she was wearing the night Denny died. The elevator door opens...I expect to see Denny standing there but no! It was George!
Back in Izzy's room, they are feverishly trying to revive her. The paddles are charged. Clear. Izzy is shocked. Her eyes open and she draws a breath...the screen goes blank.
