This photo of Shawn Johnson was taken with my cell from my TV during last weeks Dancing With the Stars semi-finals. Shawn was sticking her bottom lip out pouting over a score that was less than a perfect 30.
Shawn Johnson has no reason to pout as she has made it to the Dancing With the Stars finals, which will air tonight on ABC. Will she win? Hard to tell. Shawn Johnson is up against some pretty stiff competition, who want the title for themselves!
I have not favored Shawn Johnson for the Dancing With the Stars win, her dance routines have seemed mechanical to me, not enough feeling in her dance. Granted, Shawn has had a few dances that have been perfect. But her gymnastic training always seems to bleed through into her dance.
Shawn Johnson has a lot of talent both with gymnastics and dance. If she should win, I cannot be disappointed. Shawn is every bit as deserving of the Dancing With the Stars win, as Gilles or Melissa.
Tonight's Dancing With the Stars finals, the performance show, will tell the tale. Each contestant will be putting forth ALL of their best dance moves. Hopefully wowing the judges and the fans at home to get those all important votes. This will be a Dancing With the Stars episode that NO fan wants to miss!
